Adult Acne 101

Rachel had a lot of red spots on the face as a kid. The parents thought this was normal as many kids experience this as part of growing up. It was only when this girl was brought to a dermatologist that everyone knew that this was acne.

Treatment took 2 months to complete before everything settled. Rachel lived life normally again without anything to worry until this woman reached the age of 30.

The doctor was happy to note that Rachel was experiencing the early signs of the adult acne. No one thought it would come back when the individual is all grown up by studies have shown that it is on the rise again.

The dermatologist said there was nothing to worry about. Some over the counter items can be used for home treatment. If this wasn’t detected early, more powerful drugs or even surgery may be necessary to take care of adult acne.

Rachel was given two choices to treat adult acne. The first was through the use of oils that are made from natural ingredients. The second was buying some over the counter medications.

This person decided to go for the oils. There was a beauty shop nearby the house that had this in many variations. There was Bergamot Oil, Clove Oil, Lavender Oil, Rosewood Oil and Tea Tree Oil.

The sales clerk advised to apply this to the red spots on the face daily until the spots go away. This person even suggested to mix this with Grapeseed oil since it has worked with other customers who have also bought the same items from the store.

After a month, the spots that appeared on Rachel’s face were gone. The best way to make sure this doesn’t happen again was for this person to buy some skincare products such as soap, cleanser, moisturizer and repair lotion. This has to be applied daily as a preventive measure.

Rachel shared this ordeal with some friends from work. Fearing the same thing could happen, some bought the same skincare products while others decided to use facial strips or cleansing pads instead.

There is no single product out there in the market that can say that this brand is better than the other. This will really depend on the user and how well it did for the person.
