2. Cleansing pads have also been used to treat adult acne. This works like a facial strip since this is applied in the face to try for a few minutes. When it has dried, this can be peeled off removing dirt and oil that can work against acne.
3. Skin lotion is another product people can try. This can be applied using the finger, a cue tip or a cotton bud. This should be applied gently on the face preferably at night so this will work when the person is sleeping.
When the acne is gone, repairing lotion or a moisturizer should be used next. This will make sure the face is clean and this skin disorder will not recur.
Is there one ideal treatment for acne? No, the doctor may use one or a combination because the results are different from one patient to the next. There are many factors that affect this such as gender, age and skin making it different every time a patient asks for help.
Patients who are under treatment must not use other products that can be purchased over the counter without first consulting the doctor. This is because these may cause complications and hamper the efforts in solving this problem.
Acne is responsive to treatment. Some of the medicine given may cause certain side effects in the short term but the patient will see the improvements after 2 to 3 months.
